The point that he's trying to make is that the same people that believe it is ok to kill innocent babies with "abortions" are commenting on this post that it is a travesty that this man would endager his daughter by driving like a maniac with her in his lap in the driver seat. That you can't be concerned about little kids safety if you're going to say it's ok to kill "abort" un-born babies.
And without putting in my opinion into this little spat between you two lol... can anyone define troll for me? The only people I see calling out trolls (not just here but all over newsvine) seem to only do so to those that come in with an opposing viewpoint... maybe I'm just making that up, I dunno. I'm only asking about trolls not to argue about babies or either of you guys.

Calling someone a troll is an accusation that they are intentionally dishonest because a troll does not enter a discussion to add an honest opinion or suggest another point of view be considered, but is attempting to hijack the discussion, and inflict emotional distress
If enough posters become discouraged with the off topic subject matter, they will begin to leave and seek other articles and seeds, so essentially, the troll is trying to kill the number of votes by the author or seeder by causing distress to anyone who becomes aware of the disruptive nature of those actions
The goal of a troll is to discourage others from following the thread (in this case child endangerment) and instead focus on his preferred topic (in this case, personal attacks and insults)
Those who are fair minded enough to examine the posts can easily determine for themselves if there is any tolling behavior, and from whence it came

I still think so . Here's why .
Apparently alanwillingham and Lkessler
have been in a heated argument elsewhere
about abortion [my guess] . By discrediting Lkessler's
comment based on the abortion disagreement he is inviting
the original argument to break out in this seed .
This would hijack the discussion from
the child abuse topic right back to abortion .
Here is more evidence .
He never mentions Lkessler by name , just uses the pronoun "you" .
He doesn't do that because it would point to the original
disagreement about abortion .
I attempted to get him to express who his disagreement was with
but all he did was start this "I'm the one with spit on my face " BS , thinking it could scare me off .
It was just a ruse to cover up his not revealing his adversary .
I'm not fooled . I'm not scared .

Well, at first I was going to say it was no big deal. My dad used to let us kids sit on his lap and drive while he ran the pedals, but that was in the fields and the back roads and at speeds of maybe 20 mph. Speeding and around other cars, though? Not so good.

While I don't know the exact laws in NM, a fair amount of states consider child endangerment as a form of child abuse. Maybe a little over the top, but then again this guy sounds like an idiot and probably mouthed off to the cops claiming he had a right to teach his 5 y.o. in that manner.

I mirror the sentiments that rachealwhite had in comment #2, perhaps he got lost in the moment of being with his child. Didn't make what he did anymore reckless and probably should have been pulled over for reckless driving and speeding. If there was seatbelt laws then those would have applied to, but child abuse? That's reaching by a lot.
